- League teams shall consist of four ladies. A club must register their
players in order of strength on the registration form.
- A League match

score sheet. Each player shall play one rubber with each member of their
team against the opposing pairs.

of 6 -
- One point shall be awarded for each rubber won with an additional two points awarded to the winning team
or an additional point to both teams in the event of a draw at 3 - 3.
- If, at the end of the season, teams tie on points, the winner shall be:-
- the team with the highest number of matches won; if these are equal
- the team with the best results in the matches played between the teams concerned; priority will be given by totalling firstly rubbers, then games, then aces.
- Tthe usual practice will be to promote and relegate one team between
Divisions 1 and 2 and thereafter two teams will be promoted and relegated. However, the Committee may recommend a variation in these practices in the interest of the composition of the divisions.
- A team shall be considered to have honoured their fixture if a minimum of
four players play their games, otherwise League Rules 5b and 5c apply.
- All four players must be available to play before the start of the
second rubber. Once a pplayer has completed their first rubber of a match, they must then be available for play during the remainder of that match. If a player is not available for the start of their rubber they should forfeit that rubber and any subsequent rubber if they are not available to play in the order of play as agreed between the two team captains.
- Players who are bona-fide members of two clubs may play for one club in one section and for the other club in a different section.
